Come join the fun in this expressive dance class taught by Kristen Smallman!
Lyrical Hip-Hop blends the strength and groove of hip hop with the emotion and fluidity of lyrical movement, all set to soulful R&B music. This class is designed to be both expressive and empowering — a space to let go, connect to the music, and move with intention. Rooted in storytelling, artistry, and personal growth, dancers will explore choreography that encourages confidence, vulnerability, and freedom in a supportive, uplifting environment.

  • Tuesday & Wednesday, June 23 & 24 (two consecutive days)

  • 7:15pm - 8:15pm

  • $40 ($20 per class)

TEACHING ARTIST - KRISTEN SMALLMAN

Kristen Smallman is a lifelong dancer with a heart full of rhythm. She started at age 4 in tap, ballet, and jazz at Rosalie Woodson Dance Academy, and trained through high school at Mid-Pacific School of the Arts. At Chapman University, she expanded her repertoire with hip hop.

She's excited to share her passion and teach Lyrical Hip-Hop, an expressive blend of hip hop, jazz, and contemporary - storytelling in motion with a dash of groove and emotion in every beat.
